LiliCare Project is a community-based organization supporting the lives of orphans and socially vulnerable children in Kenya.
In Kibera (Nairobi) and Seme (Kisumu), we deliver holistic support—including education, shelter, nutrition, and emotional care—so children can dream, grow, and thrive.

Founder
Lilian Wagala
Founder of LiliCare / Head of the Tailoring Program
For nearly 30 years, Lilian Wagala has cared for orphans, run a school, and led a tailoring workshop with women in the Kibera slum.
When she was forced to leave the school and workshop she had built over the years, she took a new step forward—together with the children who had lost their place and the women who had lost their work. From this, LiliCare was born, a place to protect the future of these children.
Today, in their new home, she continues to weave threads of hope— as a mother to 13 children, and as the leader of the tailoring program.
